Pitkin County is currently engaged in a planning process to make our community more resilient to disasters resulting from natural hazards, and your participation is important to us!
Pitkin County, in cooperation with its partners and stakeholders, is now preparing a five-year update of the local hazard mitigation plan. The purpose of this plan is to identify and assess natural hazards and determine how to best minimize or manage associated risks. Upon completion, the plan will provide Pitkin County with a comprehensive hazard mitigation strategy.
This public comment form provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the mitigation planning process.
